Collecting Wine Blogs

There are a large, and I mean really large, number of wine blogs on the Internet that specialize in celebrating the lesser priced wines…affordable wines, value wines, wines under $20, etc, etc. I’m going to be a little bit obnoxious here and suggest that the reason there are so many of these blogs is because the  average blogger simply doesn’t have much experience or access to more expensive or more COLLECTIBLE wines. Yahoo!!!: Girl Meets Grape!

I had been wondering how the new Yahoo Food Page was going to handle wine. I figured they’d farm out the content to other information sources…after all that’s sort of their base business, delivering other people’s information. Food and Wine Magazine is a big player at the site as well as providing much of the wine info they provide. Good New Wine Blogs

A couple of interesting wine blogs came across my radar that I want to pass on. CLUELESS ABOUT WINE is an interesting project. And English bloke (I don’t think I’ve ever used the word "bloke" before) is cataloging his wine consumption history using GoogleMaps. the blog offers basic rankings for each of the 200 wines he’s tasted so far. Wine Hiker
